Getting childcare payments
If you get childcare payments for your child, there are things you need to tell us so we can continue to pay your childcare and make sure we're paying the correct rate.
If you're receiving childcare for your child and there's been a change in your circumstances, such as your income or your partner's income, a child comes into or out of your care, or your childcare arrangements, you need to let us know straight away.
If you want to keep getting a Childcare Subsidy for your child and they haven't started school yet, you need to confirm that with us every 52 weeks by completing a Childcare Subsidy review form.
If your child's under 14 and you want to keep getting before, after-school and holiday care for them, you need to confirm that with us every term by completing an OSCAR declaration form. This also applies if your child is under 18 and you're getting Child Disability Allowance.
If you're getting Childcare Subsidy and your child will be going to a cohort entry school, you need to tell us what date they start.
Tell us straight away if you're no longer eligible to get childcare payments.
When your child is away from the childcare centre (eg, they're sick), we may be able to keep paying the childcare provider.
If you were getting Childcare Subsidy for your child and you now need before, after-school or holiday care, you need to apply for OSCAR Subsidy.
If your child's going to a school where children start when they turn 5, but they can't start straight away, we may be able to pay for an extra 4 weeks of childcare.
